MU Patents: Who we are, what we do, why we do it.

Who We Are

MU Patents is a small firm of patent professionals with backgrounds in biotechnology, engineering and software development. We come from a vast array of backgrounds with varying degrees and specialties so no matter what you need done, we have you covered.

We have a collaborative mentality. We work together to make sure nothing passes through our team without multiple sets of eyes on it. Teamwork makes the dream work and that’s a philosophy we were founded on. Because of that, we enjoy the time we spend together whether it’s in the office or catching a wave.

What We Do

We work with small businesses and innovators to provide expert patent services to start-ups and solo inventors at attractive pricing. Our commitment to service means a frank discussion of your patent goals so we can work together to tailor your patent strategy. Once your patent issues, we monitor the status and assist in commercializing the invention, if that is your goal.

Why We Do It

We love what we do. Our founder, Nyall Engfield started MU Patents with the idea of providing quality service to the small guys. Patents are an accumulation of innovative ideas, hard work, and a serious dedication to a dream. We believe to encourage continued innovation, there needs to be teams out there that can make the cutting edge ideas actually happen. That’s where we come in.
